Great Mullein - Uncover the Healing Properties of the Herb

1. You can treat chronic cold by cleansing your nostrils. You should simply sniff great mullein tea, pass it through your nostrils and get it out through your mouth.
Perform the procedure twice a day - in the morning and evening. You can snort the powder of great mullein blossoms, as well. In addition, this procedure can be used to treat polyps, scrofula and rashes.
2. Great mullein tea or tincture can be used to treat majority of internal diseases. Collect 125-225 grams of roots of oneyear-old herb. Infuse the herbs with 1-2 liters of water and boil the tincture for some time. Drink the decoction within a day to deal with gout, and dissolve stones in kidneys and urinary bladder. Use the tincture as a gargle to treat bronchitis. In addition, you should wash your head with the decoction to avoid alopecia.
3. You can use not only great mullein blossoms, but also leaves for treatment of various diseases, including scrofula. When taking bath, add the decoction to bath water. It is due to the life-giving qualities it possesses.
4. Infuse 2 tablespoons of the blossoms with a glass of boiling water. Let the tincture brew for some time and drink a tablespoon of it 3 times a day. The decoction possesses great emollient and perspiratory qualities. It can be used to facilitate the process of coughing up and treat upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, pulmonary infections, asthma, dysentery, catarrh of the stomach, spleen and liver diseases.
5. Infuse 120 grams of great mullein root with a liter of water and leave the tincture to brew for some time. Drink the entire tea within a day to treat gout, urinary bladder and renal diseases. The tea possesses diuretic quality.
